Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PotionHub, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use PotionHub.

Description of Service

PotionHub is a web app for soap and candle makers. It helps you manage recipes, calculate formulations, track batches, and organize inventory. It runs in your web browser, and your data is stored securely in the cloud so you can access it from any device.

Subscription & Access

PotionHub is provided as a subscription. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service for as long as your subscription is active. New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. You may use your account across your own devices.

Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service
• Resell, sublicense, rent, or lease access to the service
• Share your account credentials or allow others to use your account
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the service

Subscription & Payment

After your 14-day free trial, PotionHub is $15/month (USD), billed automatically through our payment processor, Stripe. A valid payment method is required to start your trial. Your subscription renews each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Prices may change for future billing periods, and we'll give you notice before any change applies to you.

Cancellations & Refunds

You can cancel anytime and won't be charged again after the current period ends. We don't generally provide refunds for partial billing periods, but if something goes wrong, email us and we'll make it right.

Your Data

You own everything you create in PotionHub - your recipes, batches, inventory, and all other content. We store your data securely in the cloud to provide the service and maintain backups. You can export or delete your data at any time from within the app. If you cancel, you can request export or deletion of your data; see our Privacy Policy for details.

Intellectual Property

The PotionHub software, brand, logo, and website are the property of PotionHub. Your content - recipes, formulations, notes, and everything you create - belongs to you.

Disclaimers

PotionHub is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. PotionHub is a tool to assist with formulation and record-keeping - it is not a substitute for professional safety guidance. If you work with lye, fragrances, or other potentially hazardous materials, always follow proper safety protocols and verify calculations independently.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PotionHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for PotionHub in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Termination

You can cancel your subscription and stop using PotionHub at any time from your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends; you may request an export of your data before your account is closed.

Changes to These Terms

If we update these terms, the changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of PotionHub after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
